Frequency?
First-time bats: 2–3 coats over 3 days
Maintenance: Once every 2–3 months
Drying Time: Let it dry for 12–24 hours after each coat.
What is it?
Knocking-in is the process of compressing the fibers of the bat to make it match-ready.
Tools: Use a wooden mallet or an old cricket ball.
How to Do It:
Start gently with the edges and face
Gradually increase force
Knock consistently for 6–8 hours over 5–7 days

When to Start?

Good ping sound when tapped
